A native of Palm Beach County, Florida, Doug Mitchell received the Lord as his Savior in 1980. He is a 1986 graduate of Oral Roberts University, was ordained in 1994, and graduated in 1996 from Rhema Bible College. His desire to boldly serve the Lord by reaching the lost and teaching believers has burned deeply in his heart and ministry. With a call of full-time ministry on his life, he has had over 30 years experience as a communicator of God’s Word. He has been an associate pastor, youth pastor, short-term missions coordinator, seminar speaker and senior pastor. In 2002, he and his wife, Christine, pioneered Westchester Family Church in Mount Kisco, New York. Doug and Christine have three children.
Christine is from Katonah, New York. She and Doug were married in June 1990 and have served the Lord as a ministry team since. She is a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic College, and Rhema Bible College. In addition to being in full-time ministry with her husband, she has been a classroom teacher and tutor. Her gifts in communicating the Word of God, conducting seminars, and ministering in song, play a significant role in their ministry together. Christine’s personal warmth and insight into the scriptures help her present Biblical truths that make her a joy to hear.
